Doing Business By Referral vs. Doing Business By Introduction

It is painfully obvious that most sales professionals are completely
misusing the term referrals and more importantly referring their best
relationships to vendors and service providers they do not know.

Meanwhile these same professionals are not properly trained on how to
do business by introduction, therefore they are racking up the "missed
opportunity" column on their business journey.

There is a process, a culture, a pattern of doing business by referral and
by introduction and these should not be something you throw up against
the wall and see if it sticks! The damaged caused and/or opportunities
lost will typically not be realized until it is too late.

always have to hunt for new customers.

Hi Jennifer,
Call me a dummy or whatever! But I could not find the location. I was trying to get to Sherlocks Baker St. Pub. MapQuest showed that it was basically at Beltline and Midway. I drove to that location and could not find it. That was near the 4800 block of Beltline. I noticed the address was 5100 Beltline, Addison. So I tried there and I still could not see it. By that time, I would have been too late, so I just gave up. Sorry! I will try another time. BTW, exactly where is that location??
