Doing Business By Referral vs. Doing Business By Introduction
It is painfully obvious that most sales professionals are completely
misusing the term referrals and more importantly referring their best
relationships to vendors and service providers they do not know.
Meanwhile these same professionals are not properly trained on how to
do business by introduction, therefore they are racking up the "missed
opportunity" column on their business journey.
There is a process, a culture, a pattern of doing business by referral and
by introduction and these should not be something you throw up against
the wall and see if it sticks! The damaged caused and/or opportunities
