The best thing to do at any time is to listen to the discussions going on around you carefully, in a recession you should listen with even more attention and remain, entirely relaxed... the more comfortable and relaxed you appear, the more positively people, who are all under pressure themselves, will respond to you.

You are only in a recession if you believe you are in a recession. Only you can determine your success.

I think it is extremely important to surround ourselves with like minded people, people who are positive and focused on succeeding. If we allow negativity from those arround us to creep in, guess what. We'll develop the same attitude. So, seek out individuals you know who are ignoring the bad media, who are focused on the future, and who want to help you succeed. Hmm. Maybe Business Blitz is a good start.

Social Events are Fun Networking

Hey, it was great seeing some of you out at the Polo Games in Las Colinas tonight and last Sunday night. Charlotte Menke was so kind to give us free tickets, and what a lovely facility it is at the Las Colinas Equestrian Center. Thanks Susan Davis and Robert and Terri Hayley for patronizing my chair massage business out there. Robert, your son Hunter is a hoot! He really entertained me as I gave him his massage.
